Special Shapes
|

|
For more unusual wall
contours, mantels can be ordered in "L", "U" and "T" shapes. Mantel ends can
have the standard tapered overhang or be "capped" (to eliminate overhang) or
"butted" (to end flush against a wall.)

|

|
| |
|
The inside edges of mantel
legs and horizontal tops can be "wrapped" around the outside edges of your
brick or tile to reduce the size of the mantel or to cover the unfinished edges
of the stone. Legs can also be notched around a raised hearth if necessary.

To enhance the basic style
of our full-surround mantels you can add decorative onlays at corners and in
center on styles that don't include these as standard. On cap mantels, you can
add a "skirt" (to add vertical size) and corbels (decorative brackets) and
center onlays to embellish.
