Quick-Ship And Carved Mantels

STANDARD SIZE INFORMATION

Quick-ship and carved mantels are produced in standard sizes and kept in stock at the factory. They are sized to fit the most common fireplaces. Quick-ship mantels are usually shipped in 1 to 3 days. Carved mantels are usually shipped in one week. If the quick-ship ship sizes below don't work with your fireplace, a custom mantel can be made for you in three weeks. The carved mantels can also be made in custom sizes with additional lead time and cost. Please call for a quote.

• Will these quick-ship cap/shelf mantels fit?
  
  Quick-ship cap/shelf styles are "Richmond" and "Berkeley". Both styles are available in 5', 6', and 6'6" overall lengths. The Richmond is also available at 4'. If the cap will be hung on the front of a flat surface, order the overall top length that will best fit the space. If the cap will be positioned to sit on top of your marble or brick, order the size where the bottom length ("A") will fit best. The bottom depth of these mantels ("B") will fit over stone that is up to 4" thick. Refer to the fireplace diagram at bottom of the cap price pages.
  
  
• Will these full-surround mantels fit?
  
  Quick-ship and carved full surround mantels will work with marble or tile ("stone facing") thickness of up to 2". They will work with stone facing widths and heights up to the inside dimensions shown in the chart below without the need to do on-site cutting of the legs or skirt. If the inside dimensions are larger than your facing, spaces can be filled with decorative trim. If the inside dimensions are smaller than your facing, and if you are able to cut the inside returns of the legs and skirt by the thickness of the stone facing, these mantels can then fit around facing that is up to 6" wider and 6" higher than the inside dimensions shown. ( Be sure to leave enough of the non- flammable facing showing to comply with fire codes.)
