Set mantel parts in place and draw
pencil lines along outside edges.
Attach mounting board(3) 3/4" inside the
pencil lines with glue and screws.
   
Attach part to mounting boards
with glue and finishing nails after
pre-drilling.
 
Touch up with color putty and caulk
seams at wall, if necessary.
